The true or false game for people who love to doubt

Fact or Fable is a guessing game for skeptics. You hear a story, weigh every detail, and then make the call: true, or made up?

The true or false game for people who love to doubt

How to play

Pick a story, read it or have it read to you. At the end, tap True or Made up. Your first answer counts; there's no changing your mind.

The app keeps track of how often you were right. Over 100 stories it quickly shows whether you have a nose for real cases.

Harder than it sounds

The invented stories are just as detailed as the true ones: real places, specific years, believable names. And the true ones are often so bizarre that people assume they're fiction.

There's no simple rule. Neither the length of a story nor an absurd twist gives the answer away.

Solo or in a group

On your own, Fact or Fable is a quiet guessing game for spare moments. With two or more people it turns into a debate: everyone commits before the reveal. Who's right most often?
